In this article, we give you an exclusive preview of what Atlassian customers can expect.
The Cloud – Tailored for every industry
Atlassian is investing heavily in cloud solutions for regulated industries. Therefore, Atlassian now offers three options within the cloud:
- Atlassian Commercial Cloud
- Government Cloud (Beta)
- Isolated Cloud (from 2026)
The Government Cloud was developed for government customers and partners. It meets moderate protection requirements and runs in a separate cloud environment to keep government data secure.
The Atlassian Isolated Cloud (launching in 2026) is a single-tenant option with isolated compute, storage, and network infrastructure. It is aimed at customers who have higher protection requirements and need dedicated infrastructure.
Both variants receive all innovations from the Commercial Cloud. Cloud customers benefit from a modern system of work, enabled by connected, AI-powered apps and the Teamwork Graph – a unified, intelligent data store that understands the relationships between people, work, and content.
Rovo for everyone – AI as a core element of team collaboration
With Rovo, Atlassian makes intelligent search, AI-powered agents, and seamless workflows accessible to everyone – at no additional cost to users of Jira, Confluence, or JSM (effective immediately for Premium and Enterprise customers, and for Standard plans later this year).
Non-Atlassian users can also use Rovo for just $5/month.
Rovo includes the following apps:
- Rovo Search retrieves relevant information distributed across Atlassian tools, third-party (3P) SaaS applications, and other data sources – while ensuring data security. It serves as the central app for locating knowledge, enabling quick access to distributed information within an organisation, boosting productivity, and supporting more informed decision-making.
Rovo Search is now available with over 50 integrated connectors, feeding even more data into the Teamwork Graph and expanding your knowledge.
Additionally, connectors for Data Center versions of Confluence (already available) and Jira (coming soon) are being provided. This makes your entire historical data base accessible in one place through a single search app. - Rovo Chat delivers tailored and relevant search and chat results across enterprise data sources – both from Atlassian tools (1P) and third-party applications (3P) connected to the Teamwork Graph.
This knowledge is made directly actionable – through actions that integrate seamlessly into workflows, such as creating Jira issues, adding comments, or updating status values. - NEW Rovo Studio: An app that allows power users and builders to create AI agents, automate processes, and develop Jira elements using low-code/no-code tools.
New Atlassian Collections for Teams
New product packages offer toolsets for different use cases with a transparent pricing model.
Teamwork Collection
This collection is a comprehensive suite designed to improve collaboration within organisations – by integrating core tools and AI features, all for just $15/user.
The main focus is on breaking down silos, strengthening asynchronous collaboration, and ensuring greater alignment within teams.
Included are:
- Jira as the central system for planning and tracking work.
- Confluence as a shared workspace for human and AI-assisted team members.
- Loom for asynchronous video communication to reduce the number of meetings.
- Rovo Agents for AI-assisted support that automates tasks and provides intelligent insights to optimise workflows.
Use Case:
- Teams can connect Loom AI to their Google Calendar to automatically record meetings.
- Loom AI joins the meetings, records them, and brings all relevant information directly into the appropriate Confluence space.
- An automatically generated recap page summarises the meeting – including time-stamped to-dos, shared links and the recording.
- With Rovo, the to-dos from the meeting can be converted directly into Jira work items.
This ensures that the next steps are clear for everyone, and even those who could not attend the meeting can easily and quickly get up to speed.
Strategy Collection
The Strategy Collection is a suite of tools that helps corporate leadership plan, track and flexibly adapt strategies.
This collection brings together three core applications:
- Focus: A central hub for strategic planning with real-time insights into company priorities, goals, work, teams and budgets. Leaders can use it to monitor progress, make informed decisions and further develop strategies.
- Talent: A workforce planning tool that ensures the right people are working on the most important initiatives. It provides insights into skills, availability and team structure – supported by AI features for identifying skill gaps and optimising resource allocation.
- Jira Align: An enterprise-wide planning platform that connects strategic goals with operational execution at the team level. It enables organisations to visualise how work is linked to strategic priorities, manage dependencies and track progress across entire portfolios.
The goal of the Strategy Collection is to give leaders a holistic overview of their company's strategic initiatives – for better alignment, faster decisions and improved outcomes. By integrating these tools, Atlassian offers an end-to-end solution for managing strategy, talent and execution within a unified framework.

New platform apps for a unified user experience
Atlassian's cloud platform is transforming from isolated products into a connected ecosystem. This is also driven by the standardised platform apps, which are available on every new Atlassian site and ensure a seamless flow of data between Atlassian and third-party apps.

New: Atlassian Home App
The Home App is a central hub where you can easily navigate between all the apps you regularly work with, including Atlassian apps and third-party apps. It features a 'Frequently visited' section (e.g., Loom, MS Teams) as well as curated recommendations for what to tackle next.
NEW: Atlassian Goals App
The Goals App helps teams align and prioritise tasks, serving as a single source of truth for how work connects to outcomes. View all goals you own or follow, create custom views, and drill down to see which work has contributed to a goal in progress.
Top innovations for Jira, Confluence and Loom
A range of new features enhances the everyday productivity of Atlassian tools:
Jira
- New list view with table-like characteristics
- New work item view to keep relevant information in focus
- New options to label work packages (not just as issues)
- Public forms that, for example, external partners can use without requiring a licence
- Administrators can save project configurations as templates to scale best practices
Confluence
- Context-aware AI actions, such as summarising pages or improving writing style
- Beta launch of live documents to enable real-time collaboration without the need for publishing
Loom
- Full integration makes embedding and sharing video content seamless.
- Videos can be edited effortlessly by, for example, removing verbal tics or filler words through transcript editing.
- The AI can convert a video into a bug report in Jira, enabling the team to reproduce and fix issues faster.
- Videos can be converted into a Confluence page with a single click – the AI uses the transcript, so you no longer need to write anything.
Rovo for DevOps – DevAgents (Beta)
Atlassian is pioneering the integration of artificial intelligence into software development with its AI Innovation for DevOps initiative. This approach aims to boost developer productivity by embedding AI features directly into the development workflow.
Key AI features in DevOps
- AI-powered code reviews: Using AI agents to automatically analyse pull requests, provide improvement suggestions, and propose code edits on platforms such as GitHub and Bitbucket.
- Context-aware IDE support: Integrating AI into integrated development environments (IDEs) to provide real-time, context-aware assistance by accessing organisational knowledge from tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Accelerated development workflows: AI agents can generate code plans and recommendations, and even create pull requests based on task descriptions and requirements, optimising the path from problem to deployment.
Atlassian emphasises the ethical use of AI by adhering to its Responsible Technology Principles, which focus on transparency, trust, accountability, human-centredness, and teamwork.rauen, human-centredness and accountability.
Service Management – now for all teams, not just IT
Jira Service Management (JSM) continues to evolve beyond IT and now offers 29 purpose-built templates for HR and business processes – from onboarding to offboarding employees and everything in between.
With Atlassian Intelligence and Rovo support, any team can quickly set up intuitive service workflows with minimal configuration. A new HR dashboard provides insights into metrics such as employee satisfaction and workload.
Further updates within Jira Service Management:
- New app: Customer Service Management
- AI insights enable the measurement of ROI based on metrics such as “Total number of conversations”, “Resolved tickets”, or “CSAT”. The app provides reports on which knowledge articles regularly lead to escalations or where virtual service agents currently have gaps due to missing articles. The AI automatically creates articles for these gaps.
- Assets are now available system-wide via Atlassian Home. With embedded Smart Links, you can now use Assets across Jira, Confluence, and other apps. The capacity per customer site has been increased to 10 million assets.
