Why are there pricing changes in the Atlassian Cloud?
The new prices go hand in hand with expanded features and improvements, particularly in the Premium and Enterprise plans. This means that customers receive more performance and useful features for the higher price. These new features are designed to help teams collaborate more effectively and manage complex projects better.
In the Standard editions, Atlassian has adjusted the prices to remain competitive while maintaining the quality and functionality of the products. In short, the price adjustments are designed so that customers get more for their money – whether through new features, better performance, or optimised tools. Atlassian aims to ensure that customers receive tangible benefits and genuine value for the higher prices.
Product adjustments for Jira Service Management
From 16 October 2024, some advanced features for Incident, Problem, and Change Management will be moved to the Premium and Enterprise plans. Standard customers will receive a 12-month transition period.
In addition, Atlassian is introducing consumption-based pricing for Assets objects and Virtual Agent conversations:
| JSM Premium / Enterprise | Inklusive | Zusätzlich |
|---|---|---|
| Assets objects | 50,000 per site | USD 0.05 per object/month |
| Virtual Agents | 1,000 per month | 0.30 USD per conversation/month |
